Alyssa sighed. This was it. She had to explain herself to them and hopefully not get herself in trouble. If her dad found out, she would probably be beaten to death instead of just senseless. She nervously tugged on the end of her shirt as the Mayor sat down beside her and handed her a mug of hot chocolate. “Alright. Now tell me exactly what it is that’s been going on.”
Jo-Jo watched from a chair on the other side of the room. He couldn’t believe he’d actually told his dad about Alyssa’s secret. Why was he such a jerk? He’d said that just because he was jealous of the time she was spending with his dad and now he’d caused Alyssa to cry again.
He watched as she took a deep breath and began her story.
“Back home….where I used to live, my dad was really important. Everyone looked up to him and treated him like he was the greatest man in the world…but when Candy died…” Alyssa was cut off when the Mayor raised his hand to her. “Who’s Candy?”
Yet another deep breath came from Alyssa. This was really taking a lot out of her.
“Candy was my sister. She was everything my dad wanted in a child but then she was hit by a car. My dad got really mad and started drinking. Then….he killed mom and the neighbors….” Silence followed. “He wanted to turn me into Candy so he forced me to act like her and be her. He beat me. Then when the charges came for what he had done, dad remarried and moved here.”
The Mayor nodded slowly. Things were starting to make sense now. There was only one thing for him to do. “Alyssa….we’re going to call the police and we’re going to get you help.” Alyssa pulled back in shock. “No….No no. If my dad finds out I told you…You can’t!” Once again she made a break for the door and once again the Mayor caught her by the wrist.
She twisted and squirmed to try and get away but the Mayor was quick to restrain her by pulling both her arms behind her back and holding her there. “Jo-Jo lock the door and call the police. We’re going to finish this once and for all.”
Jo-Jo did as his father said and watched as his dad dragged Alyssa kicking and screaming into her room at the end of the hall. The last thing he heard before his dad closed the door was “I don’t want to die.”

JoJo: Who Could Tell?
Who Could Tell?
In the little world of Whoville there are many different Whos with unique personalities and stories. The Mayor was the head of the town, thus explaining his title. For that Mayor had ninety-six daughters and one son named JoJo. He among the other ninety-six girls was the oldest. Despite him being the eldest of the girls, he was the smallest Who in Whoville and perhaps the quietest. He would never be caught with his vocals vibrating with words, for he kept bottled up in his life, not sparing a sound. He may be the most silent Who of them all. He felt enclosed with his father and felt that if he said a thing, he could make thei

A Miser Brothers Drabble
The door to the attic swung open and a head covered in flaming hair timidly poked through the hole. He looked around with a deep disappointment filling him as he took in all the dusty boxes and numerous cobwebs he would have to attend to. But at least he wouldnt have to handle it alone.
Hey, move it Hot-head! I didnt get on this ladder to stare at your solar-sized butt all day!
This shrill voice from below reminded him that having a partner in this chore would not work to his advantage. He slowly crawled through the door space that connected the lower floor ceiling to the attic floor, trudging up with him a bucket o

Yay for 10! Double digits baby!!!
Alright, since this chapter had a lot of information on Alyssa I decided to give you a little information on the story and how I came up with it.
Where the idea came from: A dream actually. Of me and Jo-Jo having slushies together. It just told me I had to make a story.
Where did Alyssa's character come from: A song actually. Alyssa Lies by Jason Micheal Carrol. Sad story that gave me some inspiration while I was writing.
Why did you write it?: Because I wanted to please the people and give me the satisfaction of fufilling a dream ^^
